Sinds 2018 biedt de wet op de huursubsidiebijdrage (Wohnbauf\u00f6rderungsbeitragsgesetz) de mogelijkheid voor elke deelstaat om de hoogte van de bijdrage zelfstandig te bepalen. Tot nu toe hebben de deelstaten nog geen gebruik gemaakt van deze mogelijkheid. Dit zal nu in 2026 veranderen, aangezien het parlement van de deelstaat Wenen heeft besloten om de bijdrage voor huursubsidie in Wenen vanaf begin 2026 te verhogen van 1 % naar 1,5 %. Dit betekent dat de bijdrage aan elke kant - die voor de helft door bedrijven en voor de helft door werknemers wordt gedragen - van 0,5 % naar 0,75 % zal stijgen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit geldt voor alle vrouwelijke werknemers die boven de marginale maandelijkse inkomensdrempel (EUR 551,10) werken en die verzekerd zijn bij het regionale kantoor van de \u00d6GK in Wenen of - als een ander socialezekerheidsorgaan verantwoordelijk is, bijv. BVAEB - wiens plaats van tewerkstelling Wenen is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Als gevolg van de verhoging met 0,25 procentpunten zal de socialezekerheidsaftrek van de huidige salarissen van werknemers in Wenen vanaf 2026 % 18,32 bedragen (in plaats van % 18,07 eerder). Tegelijkertijd zullen de indirecte loonkosten voor bedrijven ook met 0,25 procentpunt stijgen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freelancemedewerkers worden niet getroffen door de verhoging, omdat zij niet vanaf het begin huursubsidie hoeven te betalen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het is nog niet bekend of andere federale staten het voorbeeld van Wenen zullen volgen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
